Parakeet

Parakeet was a single-sheet fanzine published by Claire Brialey and Mark Plummer of Croydon, UK. Its title is derived from Jim de Liscard's probably deliberate misremembering of the name of the Eastercon where they were to be guests of honour, Paragon. An initial enthusiasm did not survive 1999 and so while its run never formally concluded its editors now concede that it has nevertheless ended and at least one of them was mildly surprised to learn that there were as many as ten issues.
