(May 25, 1910 – January 25, 1986)

Gerald Evans was a UK fan and pro from Fforestfach in Wales active from the the 1930s to the 1950s. He was a member of the Science Fiction Association (SFA), joining in September 1938.

Evans had had a letter published in Astounding Stories in March 1932 and his first professional sale appeared in Thrilling Wonder Stories (August 1940). He published two further stories, the last in 1951, and a novel, The Black Sphere in 1952 under the house name of Victor La Salle.

The Science Fiction Encyclopedia gives his occupation as telecommunications engineer and says he ws the co-ordinator for the Life Extension Society.

He is listed in J. Michael Rosenblum's Directory of Anglofandom of 1945 with a status of “not in touch at the present moment”.
