(???? – )

Gary R. Parfitt was a fan from Bath, UK active from the 1960s. He was the sole organiser of the The Horror Film Club of Great Britain and the associated The Horror Film Club of Great Britain's Convention in 1966. He produced the fanzine Cyclops Eye.

Skyrack #93 (November 1966) said that he:

attempted to shoulder the convention single handed and ultimately was left with the responsibility for dinners which were ordered but neither eaten nor paid for, and for the actions of certain people who simply did not pay for their attendance.

He was an 'English correspondent' of Cinefantastique in 1967. In Les Spinge #34 (June 1979), Darroll Pardoe said that Parfitt, 'is still around on the periphery of fantasy fandom: a sort of Alan Dodd figure.' Dodd had also been an 'English correspondent' of Cinefantastique in 1967.
