Des Moines Con (also called Big Des Moines Con was a combination SF, comics, Star Trek and academic convention held at the Hotel Fort Des Moines in Des Moines, IA, August 28-31, 1976. It does not seem to have had a GoH, but speakers included Bob Tucker, Gordy Dickson, and Jacqueline Lichtenberg. It seems to have been a one-shot.
