A con-running fan and costumer living in Lincoln, NE who found fandom in 1981. Along with his wife, Sandy Pettinger, he has both participated in (including winning) and run the masquerade at a variety of conventions, including both regionals and Worldcons.

He chaired Costume Con 10, Costume Con 24, Costume Con 25, and Omacon 8. He was president of the International Costumers' Guild 1992-1995.

He participates in CostumApa and Costume & Masquerade (of which he is OE). His apazine is Star City Glimmers.
