An Australian fan artist. Packer was a two-time Ditmar Award winner in 1983 and 1984. In 1983, he also won the Golden Caterpillar Award for services to "triffids" and for redefining the word "vermin." His cartoon appeared in numerous Australian fanzines. In 1984, he stood for DUFF.
