Based on the acronym FIAWOL, this acronym has gained in popularity with the rise of social media where response frequently occurs before people have a chance to actually look into the real situation. RIIAWOL stands for Righteous Indignation Is a Way of Life and frequently leads to situations which can best be described as a tempest in a teapot, although it often results in bad blood between the participants at best or some aspect of "Fail Fandom" at the worst.
