(???? – )
Alan Ridgway was a British fan from Gillingham active in the 1950s. He was a member of the Medway Science and Fantasy Club and attended the Medcon in 1953 where he was one of the people credited with 'electronics'. He was also described in a local newspaper as 'the national secretary of the tape recording exchange with the U.S., now in its initial stages.' This was a scheme for the Medway group to exchange 'sound-letters' with American clubs in New York, Chicago and San Francisco.
