Cardiff is the capital of Wales. It was home to The Cymrades, the first known club in Wales, from 1952 to about 1954. It hosted the Cymrucons in the 1980s, but while there have been bids for Cardiff Eastercons, such as Pasgon, these have ultimately faltered.
