Percy Friedman was a UK fan from Leeds active in the 1930s. In the schism of Leeds branch of the Science Fiction Association (SFA) he was part of the 'SFL' faction[1] but there is no evidence that he was ever a member of the SFA. His name is never mentioned in the pages of Novae Terrae.
Thrilling Wonder Stories (August 1937) reported one Perinal Friedman of Leeds as among 'new members foreign' of the Science Fiction League. Presumably the same person and perhaps 'Percy' is a diminutive. It's possible that Friedman's commitment to SFL faction was so total that he eschewed membership of the SFA entirely.
