Jean Heitt[1] was a fan from Hollywood active in the 1930s. He was a member of the UK's Science Fiction Association (SFA). A number of members of LASFL joined in July 1937 so it's possible and indeed likely that Heitt was part of that group given the timing and the Hollywood address.
