Dave Szurek was a fan from Detroit who published the fanzines Weird City and Weirdness Before Midnight. He was a fan of low budget monster movies. ISFDB credits him with published poems and one letter published in The Geis Letter. A search of Fanac.org retrieves many more published letters of comment. A memorial tribute includes messages from his long time fannish correspondents.
