(???? – )

James 'Jim' Burch was a UK fan from London active in the 1940s and 1950s. He attended the Whitcon of 1948 and the Festivention of 1951 and was a member of the Science Fantasy Society (SFS).

On the morning of the Whitcon he joined Vin¢ Clarke for a tour of the bookshops but this isn't a very good anecdote because, according to Clarke, 'Except for the book of a play, The Brain, which Jim Burch found, we encountered no really "off-trail" items'. At the Festivention, Burch was part of the committee and is pictured at the top table operating a wire recorder.
