(???? – )

E. Alison 'Al' Godfrey was a Canadian fan active in the 1940s. He was a member of the British Fantasy Society (BFS).

Godfrey had contributed to Light in 1941 but was in the army by 1942. He contacted J. Michael Rosenblum and Futurian War Digest and joined the BFS when he was posted to the UK in 1944 as a sapper in the Royal Canadian Engineers. He was later in Normandy, and towards the end of the year he was near Arnhem and Rosenblum speculated on whether Godfrey or Eric Frank Russell would be the first fan into Berlin. In September 1945 he was in Leeds where he visited Rosenblum.

He is listed in the Directory of Anglo-Fandom of 1945.
