(???? – )

Peter E. Knott was a UK fan from Northampton active in the 1940s. He attended the Midvention in 1943 and the Whitcon in 1948 and was a member of the British Fantasy Society, serving on its advisory board, and of the Science Fantasy Society.

He became a subscriber to Futurian War Digest in July 1942 and was called up to the RAF in October 1943 but broke a leg early on in training and was later transferred to the army.

In June 1945 he wrote to the British Fantasy Society Bulletin:

The trouble with British Members seems to be general indifference and the fact that most are scattered all over the place and travel is difficult; the first is nearly impossible to overcome, the second has been overcome by the conventions which I might suggest be held regularly at Easter, August, and New Year as they have been before, but with plenty of warning so that chaps can get their time off at the right moment. I suggest that all Convention profits be turned over to the society proper for general use and not for future conventions.

After the war he attended the Whitcon and joined the Science Fantasy Society the following year but as not in evidence thereafter..
