Jean Murrey was a UK fan from Middlesex active in the 1940s. She was a member of the British Fantasy Society and when she joined in September 1943 D. R. Smith described her as 'Beefasmette Number Two', their second female member after Anne Gardiner[1].

Futurian War Digest #31 the following December reported that she had moved to Bournemouth, 'leaving the Cosmos Club (almost) desolate'.
