The Bob Richardson Memorial Award for Most Authentic Heroic Fantasy Costume(s) was described by Peter Weston, writing in Prolapse #12 in 2008, as 'Britain' forgotten award'. It was presented only twice:
- 1965: Loncon II, Betty and Ian Peters, as John Carter and Dejah Thoris (reported in Skyrack #83).
- 1966: Yarcon, Ted Tubb 'in villainous space operatic guise' (reported in Skyrack #88).
Weston described the award as 'best' but Ron Bennett writing contemporaneously in Skyrack #83 used 'most authentic'.
