Sylvia Dees (briefly, White) was a fan active in the 1950s and ’60s. She helped to found the Fanoclasts in New York and was a member of the (Second) Futurian Society of New York. She published the fanzine Flafan.
She appeared in the 1960, ’61 and ’64 Worldcon masquerades.
Sylvia was married to Ted White from 1958 to some point in the 1960s, and collaborated with him on the story “Policy Conference” (Gamma 5, September 1965). After their divorce, she went back to using her maiden name.
