(September 25, 1932 – October 19, 1982)

Joan Carol Holly, who wrote as Joan C. Holly, J. Hunter Holly and Joan Hunter Holly, was an sf writer and fan from Lansing, Michigan.

She published her first novel, Encounter, in 1959.

She regularly attended Midwest cons, and published a fanzine, Helios, in the 1970s. She taught science fiction classes at Lansing Community College.
