Bryan Barrett

Bryan Barrett was a longtime fanzine fan, artist and huckster who lived in the Pacific Northwest. He chaired the World Fantasy Convention 1998 in Monterey, CA, and was an agent of the Britain in '87 Worldcon bid. He ran The Fantasy Symposium in San Jose in 1979.
He was a breeder of canaries, a bird fancier and a ceramics artist, and involved in mystery fandom, as well. A native of California, Bryan lived in Washington State at the time of his death, which followed some months of ill health.
