Beatrice Unger attended Nycon 1 then disappears from almost all public records. This Beatrice Unger would have been 20 in 1939, if she died later that year. According to the 1920 and 1930 censuses, both of her parents were born in Poland, the part of the country also known as Galacia.

Could not find much evidence of a Beatrice Unger in ancestry.com.

A Beatrice Unger who was born in 1919 and died in late 1939 may have been the Beatrice Unger at Nycon. She was not a close relative of Julius Unger (he was not her brother or father) but the could have been cousin.

Mrs. Unger?[edit]

“Mr. and Mrs. Julius Unger and son, Jay,” attended a QSFL meeting in November 1940 per Fantasy-News.

That means that Julie Unger was married then (maybe to the Beatrice Unger who was at Nycon?) and they probably had been married long enough to have a kid together. The child might actually have been named Jay or that could be a nickname (Julius, Jr.?). Leah Zeldes Smith (talk) 23:13, 22 July 2021 (PDT)
