An all-reprint pulp SF magazine published from Spring, 1950, until Winter, 1951, then had its name changed to Fantastic Story Magazine.

The publisher was Best Books, Inc., a subsidiary of Standard Magazines, New York, owned by Ned Pines.

The first editor was Sam Merwin. Samuel Mines took over in 1952. The editor of the final issue (Winter-Spring, 1955) was Alexander Samalman.

The magazine had a total run of 23 issues and reprinted some classic SF novels from earlier magazines, including Slan by A. E. van Vogt.
