Nebula Award Weekend 2016

The 51st anniversary of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of American (SFWA) was held the Palmer House in Chicago from May 12-15, 2016. The weekend was chaired by Steven H Silver.

The weekend included numerous panels and receptions each evening, including a mass autographing session that was open to the public.

The Nebula Awards were presented at a banquet on May 14, with actor John Hodgman as toastmaster. Hodgman was accompanied to the stage by a Klingon and a Mandalorian. Science fiction author Henry Lien opened the awards ceremony with a performance of a song he wrote, "Radio SFWA" with other authors as backup dancers.

• Andre Norton Award for Young Adult Science Fiction and Fantasy: Uplift, Fran Wilde
• 2015 Damon Knight Grand Master Award: C.J. Cherryh
• Solstice Awards: Terry Pratchett (posthumous)
• Kevin O'Donnell Jr. Service Award: Lawrence M. Schoen
