Managing Editor for Locus magazine. She joined Locus in 1993 and has been nominated for numerous Best Semiprozine Hugos as part of that work.

A native of California's Central Valley, she attended UC Berkeley, then USC where she earned a Masters in Communications Management and a JD.

At Locus, she is responsible for production, advertising, and general office management.

She is also a director of the Locus Science Fiction Foundation and its secretary.

She lives in San Leandro, California with her husband and daughter.
