Nebula Award Weekend 2015
The 50th anniversary of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of American (SFWA) was held the Palmer House in Chicago from June 4-7, 2015. The weekend was chaired by Steven H Silver.
The weekend included numerous panels and receptions each evening, including a Friday night reception that allowed Chicago fannish and author groups to present their opportunities to visiting authors. That reception was followed by a mass autographing session that was open to the public. Opposite the panels on Thursday and Friday, tours were offered to Argonne National Laboratory, FermiLab, and a Baker and Taylor Book Fulfillment Center.
The Nebula Awards were presented at a banquet on June 6, with actor Nick Offerman (who had provided voicework in the nominated film The Lego Movie) as toastmaster.
