Baycon 2006

Baycon 2006 was held May 26–29, 2006 at the San Jose DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, CA. The theme was "Tales of Purple Space". Author GoH was Larry Niven, Science GoH was Jerry Pournelle, Artist GoH was Jim Burns, Fan GoH was Craig Miller, Special Guest was Stephen Furst, and Toastmaster was James Stanley Daugherty. Chair was Linda M. Von Braskat-Crowe. The con's charity was the Petfinder.com Foundation, which helps reunite lost pets with their humans. Attendance was 2567 members.
