G. W. Axworthy was a UK fan from Portsmouth briefly active in the 1930s. He attended the Third British Convention in London in 1939 where according to Sam Youd writing in The Satellite v2 #6:
Eventually the time came for departing, though Portsmouthite Mr. British-Citizen-minus-a-meal (Axworthy), had to be driven out with ray-guns.
Sadly, as this is about all we know about G. W., history does not record what on earth this means.
