(October 17, 1888 – September 13, 1956)
Archibald Montgomery Low, a UK engineer and research physicist, self-styled “Professor” as he held no university chair, worked in many fields, often on guidance systems and rocketry. His lack of focus meant he rarely saw projects to completion.
He wrote popular science books and four SF novels and was a frequent attendee at early conventions. He spoke at the Second British Convention and was GoH at Eastercon. He was president of the British Interplanetary Society for 15 years.
