A successful bid to host the 83rd Worldcon in the new Summit Expansion to the Seattle Convention Center in downtown Seattle August 13–17, 2025. It was co-chaired by Kathy Bond, named chair of the winning Worldcon, and SunnyJim Morgan.
The 2025 Site Selection was decided at Chengdu WorldCon in 2023. The convention was given the very inspired official moniker of Seattle Worldcon 2025.
