A zone for Worldcon bidding. The US and Canada were divided into three, the Eastern Zone, the Central Zone and the Western Zone. With the advent of the No Zone system in 200x, the zone system no longer was relevant to bidding, but still had a vestigial role in elections to the Mark Protection Committee. Even this tenuous existence was eliminated around 2010 when MPC elections were made to be at-large.
