James Bush was a California fan in the 1930s - 1940s. He was a charter member of The National Fantasy Fan Federation in 1941 and edited/published the fanzine Starlight with Tom Wright and Joe J. Fortier.

He was the subject of a Founding Member article by Jon D. Swartz in May, 2019 issue National Fantasy Fan.
