(1874 – 1965)

Sydney Fowler Wright was a British SF and mystery author, editor, and poet, as well as being an accountant and a conservative political activist.

In SF he is remembered today principally for his novels The Amphibians (1924), The Island of Captain Sparrow (1928), Deluge (1928), and The World Below (1929).

He also wrote as Sydney Fowler and Anthony Wingrave.
