Dystopia is the most common term.
In Shakespeare's The Tempest, Miranda says, "How many goodly creatures are there here! How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world, That has such people in't!" This is the source of Aldous Huxley's title for his 1932 novel, which includes many Shakespeare quotations.
