Robert Johnson was a fan from Greeley, Colorado. He published Orb, a popular and well-produced fanzine of the early 50s, but was a victim of its success and did not publish again.
In the early ’50s, he was a member and vice president of the University of Chicago Science Fiction Club. He and Julian May composed the music for “Asteroid,” a stfnal ballet performed at Chicon 2 in 1952.
He was a member of The National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F) and at one time edited Postwarp, the club's letterzine.
