San Diego Comic-Con

A huge, multi-genre and comics gate show held in San Diego since 1970. It is professionally run though organized as a non-profit corporation; employees of that corporation hold the top management positions running the convention. Attendance runs around 160k. It is now expanding into other locations as well.
