The Recluse was a 78-page, one-shot magazine "issued by W. Paul Cook, for his own amusement" in 1927.
It contained the original version of H. P. Lovecraft's "Supernatural Horror in Literature". Could it have been the First Fanzine? It was at least a paleo-fanzine.
