A British fan. In his early days in fandom he spelled his first name "Steev".

He was one of the "Chicken Brothers" along with Nigel E. Richardson, Alun Harries, Glen Warminger and Robert Stubbs; they earned the name at Novacon 14 when Linda Krawecke found the quintet delving gloomily into a big bucket of fried chicken.
