Necon 17 was a convention held in 1997 at Roger Williams University near Providence, RI. The GoHs were Chelsea Quinn Yarbro, Yvonne Navarro, and Pat Morrisey. The toastmaster was Elizabeth Massie, the Roastee was Steven Spruill, the Necon Legend was Ginjer Buchanan, and it was chaired by Patty Anderson and Dan Booth.
