A bid to host the 1974 Worldcon (to be called NYCon 4) in New York City. It was co-chaired by Al Schuster and Art Saha.
The competition was DC in '74 and (completely predictably) a second New York bid called the New York in '74. The NYCon 4 Bid withdrew at the last minute leaving DC in '74 the winner and went on to run Discon 2. See 1974 Worldcon Site Selection.
