One of the first Tolkien fanzines, it was published in four issues in June 1965-1966 by David Hall and Greg Shaw, first in Crystal City. MO and then in the Bay Area.
David Bratman described it as "the leading exponent in the US of the psychedelic-hippie side of Tolkien fandom." This was especially true in the fourth and final issue which rubbed many parts of Tolkien fandom the wrong way.
A Best of Entmoot was published in 1970.
