A convention held twice in the Champaign-Urbana, IL area beginning in 1979. It was probably sponsored by ChUSFA.
In 1985, a group of former Champaign fans planned to run a third Whatcon in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, but cancelled it due to problems with the hotel, the William Tell "No Tell" Motel. Dick Smith, who was to have been the Fan GoH, printed the postcards informing members of the cancellation.
