Empiricon 5 was held July 6-8, 1984 at the Sheraton Inn at LaGuardia, New York. GoH: Harry Stine (Lee Correy), Fan GoHs: Juanita Coulson and Buck Coulson, Artist GoH: Jim Odbert. Attendance was in the low 200s.
