Nick Falasca was a prominent 1950s fan who was the first husband of fellow fan Noreen Kane Falasca Shaw. They led Cleveland in '55 and co-chaired the Clevention, the 1955 Worldcon.

The Falascas were among the founders of WSFS, Inc. and was on it's Advisory Council. Later they were deeply involved in the ensuing WSFS, Inc. wars. With Noreen, Nick published Fandom's Burden in mid-58, expressing their displeasure with WSFS, Inc. Earlier in the year, they published Who Is This Man? questioning the motives of one of the candidates for the WSFS, Inc., Board.
