(Did you mean 1950–60s Gateshead fan Jim Marshall?)
(???? – )
Jim Marshall was a UK fan and fan artist from Sunderland active in the 1970s. He was a member of the Gannets and contributed art to Maya.
In Maya #1 (1970), Ian Williams said Marshall was 'a young Sunderland fan and is unashamed in his great admiration for comics but, apart from this weakness, is intelligent and highly articulate.'
He married fellow Gannet Judith Ahl on July 27, 1974[1].
Confusingly, there is also a Jim Marshall from nearby Gateshead who was active in the 1950s and 1960s. This is seemingly a completely different and unrelated person.
