C. Hammersley was a fan from Birmingham, UK active in the 1950s. He was a founder member of the British Science Fiction Association (BSFA).
Hammersely joined the BSFA in 1958 but had ceased to be a member by June 1960. However, the BSFA's newsletter Matrix #94 (June 1991) reported a Colin Hammersley on a list of new or rejoined members with an address in Birmingham. Was this the same person giving the BSFA another go 32 years later?
