“The naming of fans is a difficult matter...”[edit]

Okay, so: The California index of marriages lists two versions of her name on separate lines, each next to Roger P. Graham for the same date. One is Honey L. Wood; the other is Honey L. Provident.

Documents are in this album.

Louise M. Provident married Donald M(acklin) Wood in 1950 in Cuyahoga County. Her parents were John Provident and Janet Wissman.

Her name also appears as Luisa M. Providenti on her father's Petition for Naturalization; he was born Giovanni Providenti to Italian parents in Brazil. Her birthdate matches exactly.

The birthdate also matches exactly to a birth registry for Mary Provident born in Ohio to John Provident.

I'm not sure when "Honey" became part of her name, but I'd guess the canonical form would be "Honey" Louise Mary (Provident) Wood Graham.

I haven't found any information about her later life, but at least we have more names to look under! — Bee Ostrowsky (talk) 10:47, 11 April 2023 (PDT)
