A UK pro artist born in Wales who first sales were in 1973 and who has been a major sf artist for the last thirty years. In addition to cover art, he has done fine sf art and worked in movies.
He was nominated for the Best Professional Artist Hugo in 1987, 1990, 1995-1996, and 1998-2006, winning in 1987, 1995, and 2005. He also was nominated for the 1993 Best Original Artwork Hugo.
