Sally Rand (born Helen Gould Beck) was an American burlesque dancer and actress, most noted for her ostrich feather fan dance and balloon bubble dance. She also performed under the name Billie Beck. She was Hank Beck’s half sister and a schoolmate of Robert A. Heinlein’s.

In 1976, she attended MidAmeriCon, where Heinlein was goh, served as a judge in the masquerade, and came on stage to announce one of the winners.
