This is not an easy book to categorize. It is a perfect bound collection of John Brunner's songs, mostly various left-wing UK protest songs. It was produced when he was GoH at Constellation, the 1983 Worldcon. The convention offered to do a book of Brunner's to honor him and he gave them the songs.

Connie asked NESFA Press to help and Greg Thokar offered to edit the book and came up with the idea of asking well-known fan artists to illustrate each song, turning what might have been an oddity into a fannish publication.
