MidSouthCon 1 was held in Huntsville, AL, on June 20–22, 1980. The GoHs were Fred Pohl and Bob Tucker. Kelly Freas was MC.
It was organized by Chattanooga Science Fiction Convention, Inc. and chaired by Dick Lynch. It was not connected with the subsequent MidSouthCons.
